So true. Stephen King's "On Writing" book is what we in Australia call a pearler.
Do you have other favorites in this space Michael?

I read King's book earlier in the year and found it inspirational. I would recommend The Elements of Style by William Strunk. The second half of the book contains style and grammar rules, but the stories in the front are pretty good.

  2. More and more any of us that are doing business on the Internet must become writers of some sort because it is a basic tool for communication. The blogger who rarely and randomly posts must understand that to build a following around a message that resonates that one must "just get up and go to work".

I work with coaches who build their business using tools on the Internet. So many say, "but I'm not a writer", yet they must find a way to communicate to all types of learners. Even if they record audio and have someone transcribe – just get up and communicate.

This is probably true for just about anything that we want to be good at. If we don't put in the time, how can we be good at it.

  4. Evangeline says:

How much does the book cost?

  5. Rodney Moore says:

You can get it fairly cheap in paperback on Amazon. It really is quite good. One of the best books on writing. Which reminds me, I'd offer you mine but I haven't finished it yet.
