I wish I could apply to be part of the group and engage in that adventure--it sounds like something I've been craving for a while! I've been enjoying your blog the last few weeks. For what it's worth, I'm a 40 year old dad of 4 kids (10, 8, 5 & 3) and I mentor multiple groups of young men & boys. Last year I committed to and ran my first 10k and now I've signed up for my first triathlon in May. I've lost my first 10% of my body weight & now am on to the 2nd 10%! I've just started in a new job this year leading a ministry striving to build Christ-like leaders (<a href="http://www.opcamp.com)." target="_blank">www.opcamp.com).</a> Our ministry targets students from the poorest schools in town (12 public schools represented) and we challenge about 100 HS Christian leaders (from 30 churches) to mentor 200 elementary & Jr. High students. It's the craziest challenge I've ever faced and I'm reading everything I can on leadership development. I'm praying about how to transform the leadership culture for our incredible students in Midland, TX. If you're ever near this part of the world, I'd love for my teams to meet you!
