Advertise on My Blog Before the Rates Go Up on May 1st

My monthly blog traffic is up 164 percent over the same month last year. Mindy, my advertising director, is pressuring me to raise my rates, to bring them more in line with the market.

Advertising Pricing Table

I told her that I wanted to wait until May 1st. I want to give you, my faithful reader, an opportunity to get more than double the impressions at the same old price.

But you must act now: This will be the last time you can get this kind of exposure at these prices. I only have a few available slots, and they will sell out quickly.

My audience is demographically unique: more educated, more affluent, and more engaged than the average citizen. (You can read the specifics in my 2012 Advertising Kit.) If this is the audience you want to reach, you’ve come to the right place.

Though I am highly selective, I also offer sponsored posts to a limited number of qualified companies. If you have an idea, please email Mindy directly. If you are interested in a long-term partnership, she can craft a proposal to meet your goals and budget.

Interested? You can purchase an ad here. If you need an ad designed, check out RightBanners! or Web Ad Banner Design. We look forward to serving you.

    Sounds like a bargain.

Wow! That’s a steal for some larger companies that can afford it. I switched my blog to WordPress self-hosted just this week. It is now http://www.brandongilliland.com!

I am running beaconads on ym site right now. Because I am trying to get people used to advertising on my site, I am offering it for .25 per 1k impressions. I usually receive about 4,000 per month right now, so it’s pretty cheap to start out with.

Do you think it is wise to start out dirt cheap and move up to the right price with a new site? I’m just trying to get others used to it.

I would let demand determine your price. I started super cheap and then raised my prices as traffic and demand went up. Thanks.

I will try that! Thanks for the advice!

Congratulations, Michael.  Your consistent content is “paying” off in the long run, and in more ways than merely monetarily.  Your blog is a model for others to follow.

Mindy is “pressuring” you? How’s she doing that exactly?

I JUST found your book and site and am SO excited as a new blogger, I missed the cutoff for the free ebook by a couple days- is there any way I could get it when I buy the book? will you do it again?

I’m so sorry, but no. That promotion is over. We may do something else in the future.
