I wish I could apply to be part of the group and engage in that adventure--it sounds like something I've been craving for a while! I've been enjoying your blog the last few weeks. For what it's worth, I'm a 40 year old dad of 4 kids (10, 8, 5 & 3) and I mentor multiple groups of young men & boys. Last year I committed to and ran my first 10k and now I've signed up for my first triathlon in May. I've lost my first 10% of my body weight & now am on to the 2nd 10%! I've just started in a new job this year leading a ministry striving to build Christ-like leaders (<a href="http://www.opcamp.com)." target="_blank">www.opcamp.com).</a> Our ministry targets students from the poorest schools in town (12 public schools represented) and we challenge about 100 HS Christian leaders (from 30 churches) to mentor 200 elementary & Jr. High students. I call it journeying, two guys walking on the road of life together - encouraging, challenging, grappling with decisions, learning from each other. I meet every week, one-on-one with several younger leaders like this. It keeps me sharp and it's something that can be done anywhere, without formal programs. Do you agree?
