No Podcast This Week
Because Fall Enrollment for Platform University closes tonight at midnight, Pacific, I have decided to bump Season 1, Episode 11 of my podcast to next Wednesday, September 24. If you feel like you can’t wait until then, you can find all the episodes for Season 1 here. Thanks for your patience.
New Video Series: Your Platform Makeover
Platform building is challenging, to say the least. In my new, three-part video series, Your Platform Makeover, I show you how to stand out from the crowded online world and get your message heard. It only takes a handful of simple but powerful changes to grow your following. Click here to discover what they are and see the “before” and “after” of a real-world Platform Makeover implementing these exact changes. The series is free for a limited time.
Podcast Moved to Friday This Week
Because of the Get Noticed! Theme™ launch, I decided to post this week’s podcast on Friday rather than Wednesday. The topic is “15 Amazing Lessons I Learned from Bad Bosses.” I hope you can join me then.
No New Podcast This Week
For the second week in a row, I’m not posting a new podcast. I came down with laryngitis two weekends ago. It persisted through this past weekend. I didn’t have a voice until Monday. As a result, I was unable to record my show.
I finally broke down and went to the doctor on Saturday. He gave me some strong meds and, thankfully, my voice returned on Monday. This was just in the nick of time, as I had a speaking engagement that same night. All my symptoms are now gone.
This is more information than you need to know, but since you showed up, I felt I owed you an explanation. Thanks again for your patience. I look forward to connecting with you next week. In the meantime, you might want to check out an episode you missed by clicking here.
See You Next Year!
I hope you are enjoying a little down time during the holidays. This is one of my favorite times of the year. I am spending time with my family and planning for 2014. I will return to my blog after the first of the year.
Call Instructions for Tonight’s Teleseminar
In case you registered for tonight’s free teleseminar on goal-setting and misplaced your call instructions or didn’t receive them, you can find them here. I look forward to talking with you soon!
Get Published Black Friday Sale
Yes, I am planning a Black Friday sale for this coming weekend. It was such a hit last year, I am doing it again.
I will be offering a significant discount on my popular Get Published audio course beginning on Friday morning, November 29th.
I’ll provide the details then. Stay tuned!
Ask a Question on My Podcast
If you’ve listened to my podcast, you know I answer questions from my listeners. Callers leave messages on my listener feedback line, I go through and pick the best, and then answer those on the show.
In the past, I have restricted the questions to the subject I covered on that particular episode. However, I am now allowing my callers to ask any question on any subject.
If you have a question about personal development, leadership, productivity, platform, publishing, or anything else, I’d love to hear from you. All you have to do is call me and leave a voice mail message. You can do so here.
If I answer your question on the show, I will also provide a link to your blog or website in my “show notes” (the blog post that accompanies that podcast episode). This is a great way to promote your site and get new traffic.
No New Podcast for a Few Weeks
I will not be publishing a new podcast until October 2nd. I am working hard with my team to finish a couple of really exciting, but demanding projects. I am making the choice to invest my hours in these and skip the podcast for a few weeks.
Thanks for your support. I look forward to connecting with you soon. I will continue to publish my blog on Mondays and Fridays.
No Podcast for This Week
I am not posting a new podcast today. I came down with laryngitis over the weekend and lost my voice. I was unable to record my show on Monday as usual.
Thankfully, my voice started returning a bit yesterday. I was able to do my webinar last night, but, if you attended, you know I still sounded pretty rough!
Thanks for your patience and support. I look forward to connecting with you next week.
If you are a frequent visitor to my site, you may notice that comment counts are lower than you remembered them. That’s because they are!
Previously, my comment widget (in the sharebar) was counting Disqus “reactions,” which was any social interaction—comments, tweets, Facebook posts, etc. However, the widget is now just counting true comments.
The comment count still may be off slightly from time to time, as we are still pulling the number from Disqus. It can sometimes take several minutes for the counts to synchronize and catch up.
