MichaelHyatt.com is getting an overhaul But it isn't quite ready yet.

Core theme files have successfully been moved. Plugin activations successful. Theme settings being finalized.

John Saddington has finished his preliminary work on setting the site up. Now it's up to me (Michael, here) to go through and do my thing.

Now compiling a list of all the items I need to personally work on, like resizing photos, changing subheads, and overall tweaking.

I'm been slowly working through the site, noting various nits and emailing John. Time to stop and run a few pre-Christmas errands.

I had to do a little extra work to get my WP Stats working again. I've also been working on some style tweaks and getting familiar with the "Featured Post" process.

The kids are still asleep. Gail's wrapping presents. I'm coding!

I reduced my number of categories from fourteen to six. I had to re-tag over 300 posts. Fortunately, I found a batch tool to do this.

I have begun replacing all the smaller images from my old three-column design, so that they fit the new two-column design. The home page is looking great!

I finished updating my top ten posts, along with various other tweaks. Half the fun is learning all the options in this new theme.

I updated the images for about 100 blogs posts today. Working on the most popular ones first.

John was able to fix a nested list problem I couldn't fix for the life of me. I'm still making good progress on updating images.

I've been home sick all day; however, it's afforded me the opportunity to continue loading images. We are getting close!

John and I are going through our last minutes checklists, tweaking here and there and making sure everything that is supposed to be switched on is.

I'm about to start bringing the site up. It's a process, so be patient.
