Hi Michael

*Love* your e-books on writing a winning proposal, and would recommend them to anyone! It is not my kind of writing but your books made it shockingly easy and, dare I say, fun! They are available at: http://michaelhyatt.com/product/writing-a-winning-book-proposal.

A friend connected me to an agent for a book I'm working on, and that agent--Chip MacGregor--felt the book had value and a market, but was not a topic/project he could sell. (Super nice guy!) He then recommended another agent and I am waiting to hear back from him. I see both of them on your list and that reassures me. I very much respect you and appreciate all you do to help people! Many blessings!

I have a 75000
word edited manuscript about my 10-year experience as a father of twins making
life style choices to maximize a positive outcome for my children and my
parenting experience. The book
addresses philosophy of making fatherhood a top life stage priority. I am seeking suggestions on the best way to
bring this to market with the greatest exposure, market penetration, delivery
to those in need and retention of sales proceeds. I have experienced difficulties of finding an agent through
other authors. I sincerely appreciate
any thoughts or guidance you may have to share

A little over a year ago, I heard "Do the book!"I took that leap of faith and since 12/21/11 God has given me such favor. Please go to my website to see what I mean at www.inspiredblessings.com. God blessed me to write a book called "Inspired Blessings" Led by God to Inspire the World with Love, Faith and Hope by Jean Marie Prince. Look at "Inspired Blessings" Events. Next month in East Hampton, I will be featured doing a 30 minute TV interview about my book. I am searching for a Literary Agent that would be willing to help me to get a publishing company to publish it in Spanish and other languages. I had started a series of youtube videos when God told me to Do the book!" I have an e-mail list of followers. You can go on amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com to see the reviews as well. Also on my website look at "What People Are Saying." You can contact me at inspiredblessings@gmail.com first. Please let me know if you are interested. Thank you, Jean Marie Prince

Thank you so much for sharing just about everything I needed to know. It is like a one stop shop. The only thing that I find to be a problem for me is it seems easier to write the book then the proprosal. Glory be to God, he will help me with that as well. Thanks again so much.

Dr. Stalworth

Hi Mike,
I thought the hardest part was writing a book. Now that I have completed my book, I find the real work has just begun. Getting my book published is the hardest part of the process. Now, I am researching publishing companies (for christian authors), as well as literary agents.

I am more familiar with Thomas Nelson Publishing than any other; probably because I was born and raised in Nashville, Tenn., and because of my grandmother frequently read the Bible which had their name at the bottom of the first inside page.

My book is a story of my life. I am currently 69 years old and was sexually abused as a child. However, I am also a victorious overcomer through God.

Thank you so much for this information. I've been using agent query--it is nice to have a fresh list of opportunities. I truly believe in the book I've recently self-published, but I feel an agent could open so many doors I've yet to encounter. Thanks again for all of your work!

Hi Michael,

Thanks for this list. I'm in search of just the right agent for my debut novel, and have queried a few that I have found here.

Just wanted to inform you, as I'm sure you already know, that Kelly Gottuso Mortimer closed her literary agency. I saw her name on the list today and thought you might like the reminder so you can remove it.

Thanks again!

[...] Literary Agent–This is a must-have for authors. You generally can’t get in the publishing door without one. Why? Because traditional publishers use agents as filters to separate “the wheat from the chaff.” It also provides the clout you need in the contract negotiation process. Publishers aren’t “out to get you,” but they are naturally focused on their own interests. (I have a list of agents here.) [...]

MSH, the mailing address on your site is five years old. No problem if the reader links to the website or email but not sure if they just mail something that it will get forwarded after all these years.

Please update address to: PO Box 40965, Nashville, TN, 37204

Thanks,

thank you for your post, it is extremely important for me to find a christian ghostwriter, agent, etc. I am seeking daily for the direction through the holy spirit, as I have a message that must be shared with the world.

I am from the bahamas, and I would be checking out the Market.com

Many Thanks
