Last weekend, I read and reviewed Crystal Paine’s terrific new book, Say Goodbye to Survival Mode. Evidently, Crystal has hit an open nerve. Last I checked, the book was at #18 overall on Amazon. If you haven’t picked up a copy, do yourself a favor and buy it now!
Last week, I ran a contest on 99Designs to have a cover designed for my new ebook, The Virtual Assistant Solution: Come Up for Air, Offload the Work You Hate, and Focus on What You Do Best.
After three days, I chose five finalists and asked my readers to select their favorite. More than 2,700 people voted. What you see here is the winning design (with a few tweaks), created by Niels van Londen from the Netherlands.
I’ll tell you more about the book when it is available for sale next week, but I wanted to share the results with you here.
I love listening to audiobooks. This is how I do most of my “reading.” This past week, Audible released version 2.0 of it’s iphone app. It is gorgeous and a delight to use. Check it out.
By the way, I am re-reading EntreLeadership by Dave Ramsey. This is a must-read for anyone running a small business. Highly recommended.
I used to have a Mophie Juice Pack for my iPhone 4 and loved it. I just received Mophie Juice Pack Helium for iPhone 5. It is even better. It provides 80% more battery life with each charge. Unlike other battery cases, it is very slim and light.
This is the image I am now using in my slide deck when I speak on the topic of Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World. I have been giving this keynote speech to a wide variety of audiences: small business owners, mortgage bankers, realtors, comedians, pastors, and authors. As it turns out, almost everyone needs a platform. If you are interested in having me speak at your event, click here.
This is the new cover for my book, Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World. Thomas Nelson will be publishing it on May 22, 2012.
