Nice job on the cover and especially good job on seeking input from your readers. I’d like to see more leaders seek input from others on a regular basis like you do (including myself).

Just out of curiosity, which month do you plan to give it away to your top commenters? :)

      Thanks for your encouragement.

I will likely do a give-away in April.

        Count me in for that!

Looks great. I like the tweaks.

I really, really like this one.  It’s a great improvement over the original designs.

So much prefer the microphone to the loudspeaker. Truth is, I didn’t like any of the old covers that much because of the loudspeaker. I like this one.

The cover looks pretty impressive and catchy. It’s bright with a striking contrast of red and white along with black threaded in. Going by just the cover alone, I would predict it’s going to sell hot! All the best Michael Hyatt! Bless you.

Thanks, Joe. I hope you are right!

    Michael,

I love how you open-sourced this cover.  It looks great.  I”m very happy for you.  I’m already in line to purchase…

    Thank you

    • http://michaelhyatt.com Michael Hyatt

Thanks, Ryan. It was a very positive experience.

Love the cover! Very, very, very nice.

I’ve been looking forward to reading it since you first mentioned it on the blog!

I like how you took many of the ideas from the comments and created an impressive cover. The microphone metaphor is perfect. This one will do very well.

BTW, I noticed you are collaborating with Steve Gottry on this. Can you share the process you are taking with the project. I’ve been thinking of doing something similar.

    • http://michaelhyatt.com Michael Hyatt

Sure. I wrote all the raw material—about 85,000 words. Most of this was in the form of blog posts. However, I didn’t want to go back and stitch it all together. While I could have done that myself (I’ve written seven books), I felt it was a better use of my time and talent to keep creating new content. It was totally an economic decision.

      • http://successbeginstoday.org/wordpress John Richardson

You have really opened my eyes about not doing everything myself. This sounds like the perfect way to go. I am in a similar situation, with lots of content, but the need to tie it all together. I think a collaboration with someone else, may be the impetus I need to get it done.  Thanks for the insight!

Looks great!  Can’t wait to read it!

  • http://refreshmentrefuge.blogspot.com Gina Burgess

Yes! I like this one the best, Mike!

That was  scintillating. Now, looking forward to the book.

Great choice on the cover Mike. I think it reflects who you are very well. And well done on opening up your choice to your readers. You have made us all feel like we had a part in this process.

I’m sure many of us will help in the promotion when you begin to publish it.

    All the best.

  • Chad Jackson

Great cover.  Like the color scheme.  Very good choice.

  • Damilola Okuneye

So this particular cover came tops? Nice!

I have had the book cover image in my head for a couple of days now and it really sticks.  Great job.

Looks so professional, Michael.  I enjoyed watching the process, too.  Thanks for sharing it.  This final cover makes me want to pick up the book and look inside.

When I was on a book cover panel a few years ago, I would ask myself, “Can you picture this book turning up prematurely in a remainder bin?”  Often, the answer was yes.

Not so here.  A definite keeper.

I really like this cover. Will your book be available in e-format as well as hardcover?

    • http://michaelhyatt.com Michael Hyatt

Yes, in fact it is available for pre-order in the Apple iBook store now. It should be up on Amazon this week.

        Great!
