I talk a lot about platform on my blog and in my podcast. But the ultimate platform—the root system under the oak tree—is your character. We have to understand that there are three forces that shape who we are at the core of our being:
- The input we consume.
- The relationships we pursue.
- The habits we acquire.
Your character is ultimately the thing that’s going to shape your future, your impact, and your influence in the world, so it’s important that we pay attention to those forces that shape it.
