Andy Andrews doesn’t hope you’ll do great things with your life. He’s expecting it. Watch this touching video about putting his boys to bed to find out why!

  1. What a wonderful way to start the day! This video gives hope that what we do…matters! Thank you for sharing and reminding us that we are not alone in our “lofty” ideas that people want to do “great exploits” that will change our lives and the lives of others.

  2. THANK YOU! I find myself speechless. Andy’s message is THE message I want everyone to hear and believe. Too many people waste their life and it make me sad. Michael, you’re a huge influence in my life and I appreciate how you leverage your platform (like that?) to make an impact on so many people. Again…Thank You!

  3. While I agree that this may be moving for some, I found it incredibly corny and a little patronising if I’m honest. No offence intended.

  4. Wow! I love how he expects everyone to be great in order to shape the world for his boys. That is a powerful motivator to be brilliant and helpful every day. Thanks for sharing Michael!

  5. I have seen this before, and every time it has the same impact. To think that every decision we make when we speak or do not speak, act or do not act, share or do not share, has an impact is sobering and also exhilarating. Our lives matter – a lot. And if you’ve listened to Andy much at all, you’ll hear from him that they matter when we are a speaker to thousands, or a shoe shiner at an airport, or a parent, or whatever.

Thank you, Michael, for making a difference in our lives. May we do the same for others.

  6. It’s so easy to forget (or never to realize) that our lives matter, that what we do makes a difference. This is a good reminder. Thanks for posting it.

  8. One can find inspiration in so many places if we are only receptive to receiving it. Great clip!

  9. This video was beautifully moving, encouraging me to do what I can and to do it well, for the sake of the future of others, but also for me. I was both touched and motivated!
    Thanks for sharing it, Michael.

  10. Fantastic video and medicine to share everyday with a world that has forgotten how to count the stars and pay attention to their heart! God is good and through him we can certainly, as Andy said, do great things!
